Access fees
On February 1st, 2024, the new tariffs for operators to access the RPO came into force, based on a subscription model expiring on December 31st, 2024, and with different subscription tiers based on the quantity of numbers in the marketing lists.
The Decree of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy of December 28th, 2023, which defines the access rates to the RPO according to the provisions of art. 6, paragraph 1, of the Presidential Decree no. 26/2022, provides for several new features:
- the parameter on which to base the purchase of the subscription is the quantity of numbers in the marketing lists available in the year
- once a number has been subjected to verification with the RPO, it can be verified free of charge throughout the year, within tha daily limits established by the RPO manager (reported in the General Terms and Conditions)
- subscription for 2024 is valid until the end of the same year
- the cost of the subscription refers to access to the service in 2024 regardless of actual use, without the possibility of pro rata payments for individual months
- if the operator needs to check aditional numbers then those available in the selected subscription, he can join the higher subscription rate than the one purchased, paying the difference
- tariffs increased by 10% will be applied to operators who have received sanctions for violating the RPO in the five years preceding the one to which the subscription refers (for example for 2024, the five-year period from 2019 to 2023 is considered)
Operators who purchased subscriptions and additional numbers with provisional monthly rates in January 2024 when joining an annual subscription for 2024 will obtain a reduction from the annaul subscription price equal to the amounts already paid for January.
From February 1st, 2024, with the entry into force of the annual tariffs, the residual credit from checks deriving from pay-as-you-go packages previously purchased can no longer be consumed.
The table below shows the RPO access rates valid for 2024, which operators are required to pay to the service provider for data processing by telephone or by mail for the purpose of sending advertising material or direct sales or for carrying out market research or commercial communication.
